Meet our team: Viola Selk-Tramble, Sales Manager

If you’ve been into our showroom to check out our homes, or talked to us about purchasing one, then the likelihood is that you’ve already met Viola. Ever popular with our clients, Viola always goes above and beyond to make their dreams of home ownership come true.

Viola has worked at Havill’s for 13 years, having followed her dad into the company – he was sales manager here for 15 years before she joined the team. “I’m proud to work hard everyday to try to fill my father’s very large footsteps. I got to watch how amazing he was with his clients, and how much his care, compassion and attention to detail meant to them, so since he taught me everything I know about customer care and respecting your clients, I hope to leave a similar impression with my homeowner’s too.” (From the feedback we get, it  is clear to see that Viola does this very well indeed.)

Working as part of the Havill’s team brings Viola a great deal of job satisfaction. “It gives me such tremendous pleasure to see my clients’ dream of new home ownership come to fruition. I am grateful for the privilege of being involved in something as intimate as someone buying a home, whether they are a first time home buyer, or a seasoned homeowner, looking to downsize into the next stage of their lives. To see the joys on their faces at closing and knowing that I had a small part in making that dream possible, is so rewarding,” she says.

Viola has seen many changes in the mini home industry, in both the construction standards and design of mini homes. “I am blown away by how far they have evolved over the past 13 yrs, let alone, the past 20-30yrs.  The new mini homes of today are so very tastefully modern and the energy efficiency is amazing,” says Viola, “I love how much Kent Homes strives to stay on top of the latest energy trends and modern finishes, and how willing they are to work with our customers’ visions to provide them their customized dream home, on time, and on budget.”

For Viola, getting positive feedback from clients is what brings her the most pleasure in her work. “I am humbled by the faith my clients put in me to help them make the right decisions for their families and I work hard to honour that trust, and help them with every aspect of their new home buying journey,” she says.

Outside of work, Viola is the proud mom of two amazingly talented girls, and recently welcomed two adorable puppies to her family.  “When I’m not working, I love to spend time cheering my kids on with with their various sporting events, or taking them traveling whenever possible,” she says, “We live in such a beautiful province, there’s always a new beach or hiking trail that we love to explore, right here in our own backyard. When I’m not acting as a mom-taxi, cheerleader or tour guide for my family, I also enjoy watching and playing soccer.”

To keep our staff & community safe our office will be open by appointment only. We are also happy to assist you virtually. (We offer virtual tours, virtual appointments, and dotloop) In person appointments will only be made when necessary & must be pre-booked.
