Located in Millwood, just behind our Sackville Estates community, Century Parks is one of those places where once people move in, they never want to leave. The majority of residents are downsizers and retirees, but there are families living there who simply wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Tarra Hughes moved to Century Park with her young daughter and says it is the perfect location. “We have wonderful neighbours, we’re just two minutes away from her school, and the neighbourhood is clean and secure,” Tarra says, adding that if she does ever move it’ll be to switch a new home to her existing site, she loves the community so much. Century Park was the last community to be developed in the city, and it is green and pleasant with well-established sites surrounded by mature trees. Beaverbank is close by, and all the transit routes that serve the area, plus you’re just five minutes from all the shopping and amenities that Sackville has to offer. Hop on a bus and you can be in downtown Halifax in 15-minutes. Century Park has a real community feel, and neighbours look out for each other. Consequently, openings don’t come up here often, so if you do see a spot you’ll want to jump on it fast. Homes at Century Park hold property values high, and moving into this community is a great investment.
